The range and value of work that we undertake is now very diverse ranging from supplying just one of our directly employed operatives on a call-out, up to the installation of major projects such as the £8m installation for Skanska at Derby Hospital.  With a healthy mix of public and private sector clients, we have continued our planned growth despite the economic conditions.  Our mix of Education, Health, Custodial, Local Authority Public sector clients along with our Commercial, Industrial and Leisure Private Sector clients spread across the UK has put us in an excellent position to develop further as the economy improves.

In recognition of this we have introduced a new style logo and name, which identifies us as the building services company that we have evolved into, with C.B.S. aiming to be at the very centre of environmental building services that are sustainable and energy efficient.

We look forward to continuing to provide a service to our customers that exceed their expectations.

We work with Major Groups, namely Blue Diamond, where we have been the principal Building Services Contractor across all their sites in the UK and Channel Islands as well as individually owned garden centres.  We have a thorough understanding of modern garden centres, with the expertise to identify the correct design requirements for internal and external areas.

We work to very tight time scales and with very short lead-ins.  The buildings, which are refurbished whilst fully occupied include:

• Stores

The hand driers are of a very high quality and are installed to PHS’ exacting standards.

Driers are installed throughout the UK in all types of buildings including: Schools, Colleges, Council Offices, Fitness Centres, along with all types of Commercial and Industrial Buildings.

David was presented with the award by recruitment agency Pertemps, which sponsored The Employee of the Year category.

• Electrical, instrumentation and pneumatic installation of new Dope Preparation and Acetone Recovery Systems for the Clarifoil Retention Project.
• Design features of the project include: variable speed drives, Atex Zone 1 rated electrical components and intrinsically safe instrumentation.
• Due to extremely tight programmes C.B.S. deployed an experienced, dedicated site management team to ensure critical deadlines were met.

Notting Hill Housing was granted permission by Lambeth Council in August 2009 to build 108 new energy efficient residential homes, set over 2 buildings on Coldharbour Lane.

Construction of the apartments will be completed by the UK residential arm of the Swedish Constructor , Skanska Communities.

The electrical and the pre-cast conduit work was completed by C.B.S.

Working alongside Briggs & Forrester, C.B.S. are undertaking the Electrical Installation for the Fit Out, External Lighting and Front of House.

The Project is converting a grade II listed building in Leicester Square into London’s Premier Leisure Casino, dining and entertainment venue.

Funded by the National Primary Capital programme, the project was to refurbish and re- build the new state of the art school.  C.B.S. worked alongside Willmott Dixon, Walsall County Council & Cundall in providing a full Electrical and Mechanical turn-key solution. Working to a tight programme & budget C.B.S. were able to meet the KPI’s set by all parties.
