In 1996 M W Cripwell Ltd set up Burton Training Organisation Location (BTOL) with the help of Southern Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce.
Initially with the sole purpose of managing the training of their apprentices from commencement of employment through to grading as a fully qualified JIB electrician.
Since then, C.B.S. through BTOL, has offered an independent award-winning training provision for its own staff and to other independent employers.
Our JIB Apprenticeship program offers a high quality nationally recognised framework of qualifications, which are funded and endorsed by local colleges through our own workshops and classroom facilities.
Furthermore, BTOL’s training credentials were endorsed when we achieved RoATP status, [ government Register of Apprenticeship training Provider], approving us as an organisation eligible to receive government funding to train apprentices.
Investing in young people through training has helped to create a team of young qualified electricians who add value to our business.
Many former apprentices have progressed onto energy management, estimators and assessors within the training facility and all have become highly qualified, highly trained electricians.
We also offer training and qualifications to C&G 2382 18th Edition Regulations, 2391 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations and ECS Testing.
